A visitor to The Drill Hall Studio donated several boxes of old Dutch books, and
asked if we could do something with them.
‘Going Dutch’ is our first group exhibition for 2017 - an exhibition of altered books.
If you would like to be part of this exhibition, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org,
or call in to register and collect a book to work with.
As the books are in Dutch - this will be our theme. Artworks must be delivered by
Wednesday 15th February. All artists are welcome to participate.

as well as the strength and dignity of military personnel over multiple wars, experiences
To be opened by Troy Rodgers, Former Rifleman at 6th Battalion, Royal Australian
Regiment, Army Photographer and Townsville Bulletin Photographer. As The Drill Hall
Studio is housed in what was part of Townsville’s first military base, dating back
to the late 1800s, it is particularly apt that this exhibition is being shown here.

is a unique view of our city.
